This collection was made by Mary and Clarence Bell during their years as volunteers in the Ground Observer Corps, 1956-1959. It includes letters from the 4679th Ground Observer Squadron in Colorado Springs to the ground observer volunteers in "C" Sector, which included Eagle County. It also includes an aircraft identification manual and issues of newsletters sent to Ground Observer Corps volunteers.
