Content Description
This small collection consists of 8 photographs and one photocopy of the Camp Hale Ski-Zette, dated September 30, 1944. Included in the collection are images of the Camp Hale barracks and train station, the Eagle County High School in Gypsum, and students from the Eagle County High School graduating class of 1947.

Historical Note
Born on December 7, 1928, Bradford moved with his family to Pando in 1942, and rode the train to Gypsum where he graduated from Eagle County High School in 1947. Bradford served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He married Jane (Blouch) Bradford in 1960, and together the couple had five children. Bradford was a rancher in Gypsum for over fifty years and passed away on March 10, 2006, at the age of 77.

Abstract
A collection of eight photographic prints, depicting scenes from the Eagle County High School and Camp Hale, as well as a photocopy of an issue of the Camp Hale Ski-Zette from September 30, 1944. Photographs are presumed to be from the 1940s-1950s.
Provenance Statement
The "Bill Bradford Collection, 1940s-1950s" was donated to the Eagle valley Library District, Local History and Genealogy Department by Bill Bradford via the Eagle County Historical Society on May 17, 2005.

The photocopy of the Camp Hale Ski-Zette has been digitized and is available for viewing online at Colorado Historic Newspapers Collection. The images have been added to the Digital Archive under the image IDs: 2005.001.001-.008. The objects have been maintianed in the order in which they were donated.
